Echoing Green

Since 1987, Echoing Green has provided seed funding and support to nearly 500 social entrepreneurs – including the founders of Teach For America, City Year, College Summit, SKS Microfinance, and Genocide Intervention Network.  Fellows receive up to $90,000 in seed funding over two years, operational and technical support, and access to a powerful global community of fellows and alumni.

EdelGive Foundation is an initiative of Edelweiss Capital Limited, one of India’s leading financial services firms. We provide strategic direction to the philanthropic activities of Edelweiss, its employees, clients and associates. Our key priority is to create educational and livelihood opportunities for under-privileged youth. We achieve this by bringing an investment banking and venture capital approach to the social sector.

GiveIndia is an online donation platform that allows you to support a cause of your choice from 200+ non-profits. GiveIndia lets you choose exactly how you want your donation to be used. GiveIndia then provides you with a feedback report so you know how you helped to change a life. At least 90% of your contribution reaches the non-profit you support (as against the average of 60-80% for the non-profit sector).

TrustLaw

TrustLaw Connect, a programme of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, connects social entrepreneurs and NGOs with lawyers offering free legal support around the world. Entrepreneurs supported by one of our referring partners such as UnLtd India are eligible to receive pro bono legal advice through the service.  During the second half of 2010 we connected over 70 teams of lawyers with clients in need of legal assistance through our innovative web-portal.

UnLtd - the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs - wants to support and develop the role of social entrepreneurs as a force for positive change in the United Kingdom. UnLtd is a charitable organisation set up by seven leading organisations that promote social entrepreneurship.

Unreasonable Institute

The Unreasonable Institute selects 25 young entrepreneurs from across the globe to attend its 10-week incubation program in Colorado. The entrepreneurs undergo skill training, gain access to seed capital, obtain legal advice, prototype consulting, and receive mentorship from 60 proven entrepreneurs and investors. Our aim is to enable 25 social ventures a year to address a major global issue in a way that is self-sustaining and scalable to millions of people.
