Second Batch of 2011 UnLtd India Investees Announced

We are proud to announce our new batch of investees from November 2011. Celebrations were in order as we extended a warm welcome to them all at our Annual Bash held on December 13, 2011. Below we share a list (in alphabetical order) of the eighteen new and eight repeat investees who now belong to the vibrant community of UnLtd India investees:

  1. Ashni Mohnot - ENZI: Creating opportunities for financially challenged Indian students to access bank loans for vocational training or skill-based education.
  2. Adrienne Thadani - Fresh and Local: Raising awareness and access to healthy food by setting up vegetable gardens in the urban setting of Mumbai.
  3. Atul Jaiswal - Ananya Foundation for Social Change: Building an integrated community based rehabilitation approach to enhance and improve the access of disadvantaged rural population to public health, rehabilitation, inclusive education & sustainable livelihood services.
  4. Charvi Parekh - Me2Green: Facilitating waste segregation at the source, before waste reaches a landfill.
  5. Joseph Paul - Health on Wheels: Providing mobile healthcare to low income groups in Mumbai slums.
  6. Krishna Ramkumar - Avanti Fellows: Providing underprivileged students with opportunities to excel in competitive exams
  7. Navalkishore Shinde, Shashank Lunkad & Ankit Kabra - Campus to Corporate (SERF): Bridging the gap between academics and industry by training graduates with employable skills.
  8. Poojaa Joshi - Mimaansa: Helping to identify children with Learning Disabilities in low income schools and providing remediation to such groups of children.
  9. Pradeep Rathi, Sarika Rathi & Priyadarshini Karve - Earthern Life: Preventing bio-degradable waste from going to a landfill by creating a simple and cost effective mechanism to process bio-degradable waste into Biogas.
  10. Rafique Ansari - Rahee Foundation: Using sports as a platform for education and for ending substance abuse and illiteracy in the Malwani community.
  11. Raheen Jummani - Open Your Arms: Providing holistic counselling and mental wellness activities to help children cope with daily pressures.
  12. Rahul Pol - UNITY FOUNDATION: Working within the Dharavi community for the development of the students, youth and rehabilitation of Drug addicts.
  13. Ranjan Kumar Barik - Blood Helpline: Creating a 24x7 call center to reach out to patients in urgent need of Blood Donors.
  14. Rishabh Khandelwal & Sakshi Jain - Troopp.com: Creating an online platform for micro-volunteering.
  15. Ritvij Parikh - TracksGiving: Managing donation boxes for e-businesses to enable better tracking and transparency.
  16. Shail Desai & Kunaal Majgaonkar - Project Play: Providing sports gear for kids from low income communities to promote sports among those who have the potential but not the resources.
  17. Subramanium Venkat - Boloshree: Creating a telephone based platform for providing consultancy services to NGO's that do not have access to resources
  18. Swati Ingole - SHIELD FOUNDATION: Creating an ecosystem to provide holistic relief to the elderly.
  19. Will Muir & Rujuta Teredesai - Equal Community Foundation: Reducing discrimination and violence against women by engaging young men
