Fresh and Local aims to design, plant and maintain fruit and vegetable gardens in the urban setting of Mumbai to address problem of lack of access to organic, nutritious, fresh and locally grown food. Over the next three years, the initiative will be focused on conducting awareness workshops and create fifteen hundred organic gardens reaching out to more than 50,000 people across communities, including low-income groups.

Adrienne has worked as a freelance artist and started a clothing design business. She started this venture as a response to the lack of fresh and diverse produce they found in the city.
