LeapForWord aims to address the issue of lack of access to opportunities for educated youth resulting from poor English skills. The initiative implements modular, affordable and measurable English language development programmes for schools and youth. LeapForWord goes further to link language training to job placements for youth. Since its inception, LeapForWord has reached out to approximately 4000 students, youth and teachers.

Pranil holds an MBA degree and has six years of experience in Software Development / Testing, Pricing Management & Management Consulting. Having volunteered in the education sector for several years, Pranil felt the need to do "effective" good rather than just do good eventually leading to the founding of LeapForWord.
